Access
- By air: The Narita International Airport is an approx.85 minutes drive by airport bus (depends on the traffic), an approx.80 minutes by NEX(Narita Express) train. The Haneda Domestic Airport is an approx.50 minutes (depends on the traffic) by airport bus.
- By rail: The Shinjuku Station is a 5 minutes by walking from West Exit.
Language
- The Conference Language is English. A language translation will not be provided.
Lunch
- Lunch is not included in the registration of the conference. You can find many restaurants in and around the venue.
Welcome Reception and Banquet
- The Welcome Reception (Drink with light meal) will be held on Sunday 10 May, 2009, from 6:00 pm in the conference venue.
- The Banquet (Seating buffet-style) on Monday 11 May, 2009, from 6:30 pm in the conference venue. (Cost included in full registration. Extra ticket on request at JPY 15,000 per ticket).
Technical Visits
Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant visit tour will be arranged to visit remarkable plant.

International Exhibition
- Open from Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 May, 2009.
- It is held around the conference rooms for panel sessions, providing maximum networking opportunities for delegates, visitors and exhibitors.
Registration
For procedures of registration, please refer to Registration page.
- Meeting registration is required for all participants. For security reasons, access to the conference, exhibition, coffee breaks and events will be limited to persons wearing the identification badge provided with the registration package.
- Registration covers: Attendance for 3 days at the opening session, plenary and technical sessions. Access to the exhibition. Coffee breaks. Invitation to events : Welcome reception on Sunday 10 May, 2009. Banquet (Conference Dinner) on Monday 11 May 2009. A registration package including: personal identification badge, the official program, the CD-ROM of proceedings and so on.
- During the conference, the registration desk will remain open from Sunday 10 May 2009 afternoon (15:00-19:00) and from Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 May, 2009 (8:00 - 17:30).
Presentation procedures
- Before the presentation
Confirm the room assigned to you for your presentation. Install any presentation files you will us on the PC set up in the room. Introduce yourself to the chairperson.
- The chairs will introduce the presenters, using biographies submitted by the presenters.
- We ask you to cooperate in observing the time limits required by the chair.
15 minutes in sessions with five presentations
18 minutes in sessions with four presentations
20 minutes in sessions with three presentations
- After your presentation, take questions from the floor.
Equipment provided in the presentation room
Screen, podium, PC (OS: Windows XP, with Power Point 2003 or later version), microphone and laser pointer
Preparation room
Room Comet on the 43rd floor is available for preparation. PCs (OS: Windows XP, Power Point 2003 or later version) are available there.
Opening Session and Plenary
- They are presented in the Eminence Hall, 5th level on Monday 11 May, 2009.
Panel Session
- They are presented in the room 'NISHIKI' and 'Ohgi' , at 4th floor same level as the exhibition, from Monday 11 May, 2009 to Wednesday 13 May, 2009.
Preview Room for Plenary, Panel Session and Technical Sessions
- Open on Sunday 10 (15:00-19:00), and from Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 Wednesday May, 2009 (8:00 - 18:00).
- The secretariat's office is located in the room next to the Registration Desk. (3rd floor)
- Preview room is Room 'COMET' at 43rd floor.
- Session Chairs and Co-chairs can meet in the TPC Waiting Room 'ASAHI' at 47th floor and get the latest information on their session from the person in charge of the conference room.
- Equipped with computers; member of the secretariat or an assistant can provide assistance, if needed.
Installation to PC for Your Presentation
- lt is strongly recommend that speakers bring their Power Point Presentation on USB Key or CD-ROM to be loaded in advance (on your arrival).
- A speaker shall be finished Installation to the PC at the room where you are going to present before your session for presentation by himself.
Technical Equipment in Session Rooms
- All rooms are equipped with laptop computers same as one equipped at the preview room.

- Machintosh PC and file formatted by it is not available.
Local Tour, Optional Tours
- Tour Desk will be held right next to the Registration Desk (3rd floor) from 10 Sunday May, 2009 to Wednesday 13 May,2009 by JTB-GMT, which is the official travel agency.
May is the best season to visit in Japan. At weekend, many notable festivals will be held in Tokyo, Kyoto and so on;
